Retreats come in many forms and styles.  The retreats that People of God's Love Community hold are Charismatic in nature, scripturally based in content and involve both formal presentations as well as group discussion sessions.

At times the community sponsors its own retreats.  In the past, we have co-sponsored retreats with the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of the Diocese of Columbus.  We also have attended retreats sponsored by other Sword of the Spirit Communities, to include the Work of Christ Community in East Lansing, MI and the People of God Community in Pittsburgh, PA.

Each of the Coordinator's in the Community has approximately 30 years of experience in walking with The Lord.  These men are the principal teachers at community sponsored men's retreats.  Likewise, the Women's Advisory Team, who are the women leaders within the community, have a great deal of wisdom and knowledge.  These women are the principal teachers at community sponsored women's retreats.

Experienced male and female retreat presenters within the community.

Resources

Sister communities provide presenters at retreats who may bring a different perspective to the attendees.

Hospitality

Our members are invited to attend retreats of sister communities in various locations.
